Stephanie Gates, Director – Stephanie@untbsm.com

After graduating from high school in 1999, Stephanie attended Belmont University in Nashville, TN and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree in 2003.  She also attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and graduated with a Masters of Divinity degree in 2006.  She served on staff as the Youth Intern and as the Preschool and Children’s Minister at First Baptist Church, Cleburne, TX from April 2004 through August 2006.  In August of 2006, she became the Intern at the Baptist Student Ministry at the University of North Texas.  After two years in that position, Stephanie became the Associate Director.  In July of 2009, she became the Interim Director and in February 2010, she was voted in as the Director.  Along with serving at the Baptist Student Ministry, Stephanie has served in interim youth and music positions for local churches and periodically leads worship for camps and church events.

After graduating high school in 2007, Randy attended the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, Texas and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in 2011. In the fall of 2011, he took the position of Campus Missionary at the University of North Texas. Randy enjoys working with college students and watching God grow them into leaders who will impact UNT’s campus.

Amanda Ratheal, Campus Missionary – Amanda@untbsm.com

Originally from Amarillo, TX, Amanda moved to Denton in the Fall of 2007 to attend the University of North Texas.  In August 2011, she graduated with a degree in Studio Ceramics as well as a degree in Rehabilitation Studies.  Amanda’s time in Denton has provided many ministry and work experiences.  Since Fall 2008, Amanda has worked as an elementary drawing instructor for a program called Young Rembrandts.  In January of 2010, she began an 8 month youth interim position at Memorial Baptist Church.  In January 2011, Amanda worked as a therapist at Mustard Seeds, a pediatric autism therapy center in Roanoke, TX.  Along with graduation in August 2011, Amanda begins her commitment as a BSM Campus Missionary at UNT.  Amanda is excited to what God will do during her time serving at the UNT BSM.
